COLLAGEN P.I.N.

The Collagen P.I.N.® is an FDA-cleared microneedling device that mechanically punctures and injures skin tissue through use of a 36-needle arrangement of medical grade stainless steel sterilized needles. Collagen P.I.N.® Microneedling treatments are minimally invasive treatments that can be used to reduce the appearance of acne scars and improve skin tone & texture.
Commonly, patients report seeing positive changes as soon as 3-4 weeks after the first treatment. However, a series of treatments is recommended for better, lasting results.
Microneedling results vary based on the area being treated, the needle depth chosen by the provider, and your individual skin health.

Prior to treatment, the medical provider will apply a topical numbing agent. Most microneedling patients report feeling little-to-no pain at all once a topical numbing agent has been applied.
Each client's skin is unique, so depending on your skin type and current issues you may experience some slight pain, slight swelling and burning sensation similar to that of a mild sunburn that can last 1-2 days. Your skin can appear pink to red for those 1-2 days. Some clients may also experience some dryness and slight peeling of the skin up to a week after treatment. All of these results are typical with no cause for concern.
However, in a clinical trial, 94% of patients reported no dryness, roughness of skin, itching, and burning – and 64% reported no tightness, erythema, and edema 2-3 days post-treatment.
